Development of my Double Page SpreadDaniel Riley
OneTo start off my double page spread I decided to incorporate my background image so I can edit over it later on in the development. As I only had an A4 image I decided to clone it 4 times to look as one continuous image. To get rid of the separating lines of each image I merged all of the layers then used the blur tool to hide the lines and give a more professional image
TwoI then decided to add a certain quirkiness to the double page spread by incorporating paint splatters which helps identify with my target audience demographic which is creative, experimental, non-materialist and anti-authority/rebellious. I then inputted my title of the article on the double page spread.
ThreeI took a typical convention of a music magazine feature article which is to enlarge same quotes of the article. I decided to use both of these quotes as they identify with the target audience demographic.
FourI then added another picture which I edited in Adobe Photoshop to show a relaxed side of the artist. I also added a text box which I filled in light blue to fit the color scheme of the article. This box will eventually consist of the text that I had prepared for my interview of the artist.
For the last step of my magazine article I added the text of the interview. The interview mainly talked about the artists new album, his life and aspirations. My magazine article was now complete.
